H. goat weed has a 2000-year history of use in China and is also traditionally used in Japan. The leaves contain a variety of flavonoids, polysaccharides, lignans, sesquiterpenes, phenolic and penethylol glycosides, ionones, and sterols, as well as an alkaloid called magnaflorine.

Ingredients:
Each vegetable capsule contains:
H. goat weed (Epimedium grandiflorum) extract, 20% icariin 500 mg
Other ingredients: Vegetable magnesium stearate in a non‑GMO vegetable capsule composed of vegetable carbohydrate gum and purified water.
Directions of Use:
Adults ≥ 19 years old: Take 1 capsule daily or as directed by your health-care practitioner.
Duration of use: Take for a minimum of 4 weeks to see improvements. Consult a health-care practitioner for use beyond 6 months.
Warnings:
Contains no: Gluten, soy, wheat, corn, eggs, dairy, yeast, citrus, preservatives, artificial flavour or colour, starch, or sugar.
Cautions and warnings: Consult a health-care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Consult a health-care practitioner prior to use if you are taking any prescription medication; if you have a serious medical condition; or if you suffer from a hormone-sensitive condition. Consult a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner prior to use.
Contraindications: Do not use if you have yin-deficient fire; if you are pregnant or breast-feeding; if you have high blood pressure.
Known adverse reactions: Discontinue use and consult a health-care practitioner if symptoms of dry mouth, nausea, vomiting, nosebleed, diarrhea, or abdominal distention appear. May cause gastrointestinal distress; in which case, discontinue use.
